Product‑Specific Privacy Notice
Effective date: October 2, 2025
This notice supplements the Optifun — Universal Privacy Policy and applies to the Tracker — Bluetooth Finder app (the “Service”). It explains what data is processed to enable Bluetooth scanning and related features, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
TL;DR (Quick Summary)
The app scans for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices to help you find them. Scans are processed on your device. We do not upload lists of nearby devices or your scan history to our servers. We collect minimal diagnostics (e.g., crash logs, device info) to improve reliability. Some OS versions require Location permission for BLE scanning; we do not use it for precise location tracking. You can control permissions in your device settings.

1) Overview & Definitions
Service: “Tracker — Bluetooth Finder,” a freemium app by Optifun Ltd. that helps locate compatible BLE devices by showing proximity indicators and related tips.
Relationship with the Universal Policy: This Notice forms part of and should be read with the Optifun — Universal Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, this Notice controls for Bluetooth Finder features.
2) On‑Device Processing
- BLE scans and nearby device identifiers are processed locally on your device to show proximity/signal strength.
- We do not upload the list of nearby devices or your scan history to our servers.
- If you enable optional features (e.g., hints, notifications), the app may store small preferences locally.
3) OS Permissions
Bluetooth / Nearby Devices (Required)
Needed to scan for compatible devices and display proximity indicators.
Location (Platform‑Dependent)
Some OS versions require approximate location permission for BLE scanning. We do not use this permission to track your precise location.
Notifications (Optional)
Used to deliver proximity tips or alerts if you enable them. You can turn notifications off in your OS settings at any time.
4) Data We Collect
- Diagnostics & performance: crash logs, error traces, and limited device information (e.g., device model, OS version, app version, language, anonymized identifiers).
- Usage analytics: high‑level events like session counts, feature engagement (e.g., scans started/ended), and basic IP‑derived region for service reliability.
- Log data on errors: in case of app errors, we may receive standard log data via third‑party tools (time/date, app configuration, device name/model, OS).
- We do not collect: content of BLE broadcasts, names/addresses of nearby devices as a profile tied to you, or your precise GPS location.
5) How We Use Data
- Provide and improve the Service (operate scans, show proximity, fix bugs, enhance performance).
- Communicate service updates, tips, and notices (where permitted by law or with your consent).
- Security & integrity: detect misuse, prevent fraud/abuse, and enforce terms.
- Legal compliance and to protect rights and safety.
6) Third‑Party Services
We use trusted service providers for analytics, crash reporting, and infrastructure, such as Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, and Amplitude. These providers process limited information on our behalf to keep the app reliable and to understand general usage. They are contractually restricted from using your information for other purposes.
We do not control third‑party privacy practices; see their policies for details. Links to third‑party content are governed by their own terms.
7) Advertising & Measurement
If ads are shown, we may use mobile advertising identifiers (e.g., IDFA/GAID) to limit frequency and measure performance. Where required by law, certain practices may be considered “sharing” for cross‑context behavioral advertising. You can opt out via device settings and industry tools (see Your Choices).
8) Your Choices
Device Permissions
Manage Bluetooth/Nearby Devices, Location, and Notifications in your device Settings → Privacy & Security. Disabling permissions may limit functionality.
Analytics & Ads
You can reset or limit your device’s advertising ID, adjust system ad personalization, and control cookies/SDK signals where applicable. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required by law.
Data Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Submit requests to privacy@optifun.app. We will verify and respond as required by law.
9) Data Retention & Deletion
Diagnostics and analytics are retained only as long as necessary to operate and improve the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We do not store lists of nearby BLE devices or your scan history on Optifun servers.
10) Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11) Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). If we learn we collected information contrary to this section, we will delete it.
12) Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice to reflect technical, legal, or business changes. We will post the updated version with a new “Effective date” and, where required, provide additional notice.
